Hi, I was one of the bidders on this project on Freelancer.com.
My bid from there:
Hello! My name is Nina, I’m a professional native German translator and proofreader from Austria with more than 15 years of work experience. As you can see from my reviews and portfolio, I provide quality with attention to detail. I lived in the States (Chicago) and the UK (South coast) before moving back to Austria, and as my main job in media production is international/in English, I am confident that there isn’t much I don’t understand.

I provide highly specialised translations – from pharmacology to legal matters and literature – which are usually the projects where it’s harder to find someone qualified because the run-of-the-mill “Google translators” lead to disappointed clients, so I believe I’m a good addition to any pool of qualified translators. Learning new things and new vocabulary is something I enjoy, especially software development because I have family working in Information Processing Research. I am familiar with remote assignments through this platform and those run by Lionbridge and Appen.

Everything about your project sparked my interest, and I expect it will have dozens of bidders in no time. I assume “Beta Version” also means that you’ll have to do some test runs early on, and I’d love to be part of that. I’d be available for sample translations and/or test runs free of charge, so you could see right away what quality you will get from me. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch, best regards,
Nina
